Mindfulness and Meditation
Extensive research has shown Mindfulness Meditation to be highly effective for anxiety reduction, relapse prevention (for depression and addiction) and stress reduction. Research also documents excellent physical health and emotional health benefits from mindfulness and meditation.
I weave mindfulness and meditation concepts into my therapy sessions. However, if you do not know how to meditate, it is much easier and less expensive to learn it via a course, online or at a meditation center near you. I am currently in the process of developing online courses, which will be an effective, low-cost compliment to in-person therapy.
